Emergency Services & Minor Care

In an emergency, Temple University Hospital - Episcopal Campus is here for you and your family. Our full-service Emergency Department provides high-quality care for 45,000 patients each year. The department treats patients who have serious injuries as well as patients with more minor illnesses and injuries.

The department is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and is staffed by board-certified Temple doctors and specially trained nurses. If required, the department can provide patients with fast access to specialized doctors and services at Temple University Hospital.

The department offers a separate Minor Care Center for the treatment of less serious illnesses and injuries. The center allows patients to be seen and treated quickly and is open from 11:00 a.m to 11:00 p.m. seven days a week.

Certified medical interpreters are available to provide translation for patients in the Episcopal Campus Emergency Department and Minor Care Center.
